Having travelled across Canada as a manager in the not-so-sustainable and rather industrial restaurant industry, Maurín discovered the magnificent public markets of Montreal and the amazing local farms of the region soon after she arrived here in 2012. She was immediately inspired to create her company, serving sustainable and healthy home meals. She made connections with the best artisans and small farmers in the area. Today, Maurín Traiteur Local & de Saison offers a full catering service for businesses and individuals as well as cooking workshops at the Centrale Culinaire.
